It doesn’t need to cost a fortune to get all your essentials together, and you don’t need the latest and greatest appliances to do cook and eat well from scratch either.
For 2 years, I cooked all our food from scratch using an ancient food processor, a cheap kitchen knife with the tip missing and a set of basic pans from Big W.
The, when my hubby realised that this whole “real food’ thing wasn’t a fad, we decided to invest in a Thermomix and while I absolutely love it and it has made many of the things I make easier and quicker to do, it certainly isn’t an essential kitchen item.
